Home to 20 ponies, horse lovers of all ages will feel right at home at the top station of the Astbergbahn chairlift in Going am Wilden Kaiser. Accompanied by their parents, children can ride ponies and discover the area surrounding the Astberg mountain, visiting different stations along the way. Ponies aren’t the only friendly animals on the Astberg mountain: Guests can feed and pet small animals at the petting zoo.

While visiting the Ponyalm mountain pasture on the Astberg mountain, don’t miss the impressive Astbergsee lake, the "mirror of the Wilder Kaiser"!

The Ponyalm mountain pasture is easily accessible via the Astbergbahn 4-seater chairlift from Going. Please note that this chairlift cannot carry wheelchairs or prams. Ample free parking is available at the valley station.
Please note that the Astberg Pony Alm is not accessible by car.

Both you and your dog are welcome at the Astberg Ponyalm mountain pasture. However, please keep your four-legged friend on a lead and always take good care of him. Dogs are not allowed in the water and doggie droppings must be picked up and removed immediately.
