Starting point is individually in the four villages of the Wilder Kaiser region. Whether you start in Ellmau, Going, Scheffau or Söll, the tour can be done in different ways.
The tour is designed from east to west on the north side on the foot of the Wilder Kaiser mountain and back again on the south side.
From the easternmost village Going, starting at the tourist information office, via the church square to Wagnerhof Stubn Genusskrämerei and leads at the fire station next to the stream to the Bauernladl, at the traditional Stanglwirt. From the Stanglwirt, you cycle through the district of Prama back to the village where, behind the information office, you cycle along the stream again in a westerly direction to the Blattlhof. Through the underpass at the Hotel Blattlhof you continue along the signposting Sölllandlrunde. You cycle via the district Wochenbrunn into the centre of Ellmau. In the centre of Ellmau the culinary heart beats faster in the “Bauernladl” Wilder Käser. Many delicacies invite you to a little shopping tour. For a short rest there are cafés and restaurants in the centre. From the village centre of Ellmau, the route continues via the Kaiserbad along the Sölllandlrunde to the village centre of Scheffau. The rise to the beautiful village centre is done - now a refreshment at the Scheffara G'schäftl is excellent. The Scheffara G'schäftl - it's simply a place to feel good. Whether you continue your shopping list there or just rest your legs, this special place is definitely worth a visit.
From now on, you can decide the further route to Söll to the ability itself. Variant one is the somewhat sportier tour via the beautiful Hintersteiner lake Variant two is via the Sölllandlrunde at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser.
Variant 1: From the Scheffara G'schäftl, follow the bike path signs up to the Hintersteiner lake. Leaving the centre of the village behind, the route goes steadily uphill. After the last steep path you are done, out of the forest and let the bike run. Via the district Bärnstatt always straight ahead until you reach the lake. As far away as the Hintersteiner lake may seem, culinary delights are nowhere to be missed at the Wilder Kaiser. At Gasthof Bärnstatt there is a 24-hour farm store with traditional and homemade delicacies. Either you enjoy the cool of the lake to take a short refreshing break or you turn left before the parking lot along the cycle path No. 349 over the Achleitberg in the direction of Söll. At Gasthof Oberstegen take the underpass to get to the other side of the road and continue cycling over the Moorsee into the centre of Söll.
Variant 2: From Scheffara G'schäftl you cycle past the municipal office in the direction of Café Rosemarie. At the crossing of Café Rosemarie you cycle left the cycle track No. 14 near the stream to Söll. Between the fields through until you come again to a settlement. Keeping to the left, slightly uphill, you continue through the Stockach and Gänsleit districts via cycle path no. 14 to the centre of Söll.
No matter which variant you have chosen, you have now arrived in the centre of Söll. After a short exploration of the new village square and possibly after a rest in one of the surrounding possibilities of Söll's gastronomy, turn left in front of the patisserie and restaurant AnDa´s to Auingers Hofladen. This farm store is open 24 hours a day and contains not only the famous cheese of the Au Hochalm, but many other homemade products. From the district of Prichmoos, follow bike path no. 14 until you reach Pension Denggenhof. There, at the underpass, you cross to the other side of the road and return in the direction of Söll village. Close to the centre, after the fire department, turn right over the district Gänsleit via the Sölllandlrunde back. But attention! Along this route, two hidden farm stores await you in the district of Hauning. The Keilhof with the free-range chicken and the Poiderhof with the sheep milk products. A look into the two farm stores is definitely worthwhile.
From here you follow the south side of the Sölllandlrunde back to your starting point.
