We hike from Scheffau via the "Wegscheid Almen" along the panoramic trail "Wilder Kaiser Steig" to the beautifully situated Gruttenhütte at 1.620m. We are rewarded with magnificent views over the entire region and the highest peaks of the Kaisergebirge. After a stop for refreshments, we head downhill to the Wochenbrunneralm. From there we return with the hiking bus & KaiserJet.
The hike requires good physical condition and some experience walking over narrow, stony paths. Walking time approx. 5 hours, 900m altitude & 11 km.

You need: good physical condition, good walking shoes, sun- or wet weather clothes, hiking sticks, drinks and a snack
