Your contribution to service and infrastructure.
The tourist tax (also called visitor's tax or local tax) is legally mandated by the state of Tirol and serves to promote Tirolean tourism. The accommodation provider is obliged to collect the tourist tax on behalf of the Federal State of Tirol. A large part of the revenue goes to the Tourismusverband Wilder Kaiser tourist office, which uses the funds to finance tourist infrastructure, printing, guest services, ski and hikers’ buses, events, etc.
A tourist tax of €2.50 per person/night applies in all 4 towns. Persons aged 15 or under at the end of the calendar year are exempt from the tourist tax.
