Your contribution to service and infrastructure.
The tourist tax (also known as visitor's tax or local tax) is based on a legal regulation of the province of Tyrol and serves to promote tourism in Tyrol. The landlord is obliged to collect the tourist tax for the province of Tyrol. A large part of the revenue goes to the Wilder Kaiser Tourism Association, which uses it to finance tourist infrastructure, printed materials, guest services, ski and hiking buses, and events, among other things.
In the Wilder Kaiser holiday region, a tourist tax of €2.60 per person/night applies in all 4 locations from 1 May 2025 (from 1 December 2025 €3.50). Overnight stays by persons up to the end of the calendar year in which they reach the age of 15 are exempt from the tax.
