Camping in the Wilder Kaiser region

Whether with a camper van, caravan, van or tent - a camping holiday in the Wilder Kaiser region is a unique experience. In addition to freedom, nature enjoyment and a stunning view, you can also enjoy plenty of comfort at the region's two campsites. Both sites are open summer and winter.

Spending the night in mobile accommodations such as tents, caravans, motor vehicles, camper vans, mobile homes, etc. is only permitted on campsites in Tyrol. Outside of these, i.e. in nature and on any public car parks, it is prohibited by law. The legal basis is the Tyrolean Camping Act. Disregarding this regulation is an administrative offence and punishable in any case.

Exceptions to this prohibition are bivouacking in high alpine terrain for a short period of time due to circumstances (e.g. bad weather, darkness, injury). Planned camping on the mountain is not permitted.
