Vinyasa Yoga is also called "meditation in motion". The dynamic, flowing yoga style is challenging for the body and calming for the mind. It refers to the deliberate connection of breath and movement, creating a seamless transition from one pose to another.
One of the key principles of Vinyasa Flow Yoga is mindfulness of the breath. Practitioners are encouraged to pay attention to their breath and use it as a guide for their movements. Each movement is coordinated with an inhalation or exhalation, allowing the breath to guide the exercise. This mindful connection between breath and movement helps to develop a sense of presence and focus on the mat.
