When it gets cooler, many children wear hats, scarves and socks made of sheep's wool. But how does the raw wool actually become a thread? Maria gives you interesting information about the sheep, which belongs to the family of horn-bearers!
The sheep at the nature conservation farm are sheared twice a year and the precious raw wool is processed into products. What is special about wool, how the sheeps feel when they are sheared, why sheep stay dry even when it rains and do not like to be alone, you will find out on a tour of the nature conservation farm Artenreich.
Afterwards, small souvenirs are made together from the farm's own sheep's wool, which each child can take home with them!
Registration: by 3:00 p.m. the day before online or at the Wilder Kaiser Tourist Info.
Participants: min. 4 - max. 15 persons (childern 7 yrs and older accompanied by an adult)
Price: free of charge (participation only with Wilder Kaiser GästeCard)
Payment of material costs: in cash, on site with Maria
What to bring: good shoes, snack and drink, rain protection and lots of good humour!
Duration: 10:20 a.m. - approx. 12:00 p.m.

By public transport or the Kaiserjet (free of charge with the Wilder Kaiser GuestCard), on foot or by bike.

This programme is exclusively for guests of the Wilder Kaiser region with accommodation in the towns of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau or Söll. Only here will you receive the Wilder Kaiser GästeCard free of charge on arrival, which must be shown at registration or at the meeting point. Participation in the programme is at your own risk. Programme subject to change!
If something unforeseen happens, cancellation is possible up to 3:00 pm the day before.
Cancellations after this time will be charged with a lump sum of € 5,-- per person.
