Rübezahl-Alm

Winter on the Rübezahl-Alm (1.172m)
Visit us with your skis directly at the Hartkaiser valley slope. You can also walk to us via the Faistenbichl and the forest road, which takes about 1.5 hours from the village. (The gondola does not stop at the middle station in winter).

Summer on the Rübezahl-Alm (1.172m)
Every day, except wednesday and thursday day off (except on public holidays) breakfast from 9 to 11 am - reservation BY PHONE obligatory

By foot or with the gondola to the Rübezahl-Alm:
Comfortable hike from the valley station of the Hartkaiser cable car (approx. 1.5 hours walk - hiking trail no. 7) or via the Faistenbichl district and hiking trail no. 3 uphill (approx. 1.5 hours) or via the Rübezahl carved figure trail from the Hartkaiser mountain station downhill (approx. 1 hour walk). The Rübezahl-Alm can also be reached by gondola - get off at the middle station (possible from Mid June - Mid October daily from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.) and then via hiking trail no. 4 (walking time 15-20 min). The start and exit are only possible during the ascent.

On the Rübezahl-Alm you can enjoy the mountain summer to the full. The hut, built in 1778, was originally a cowshed, today the Rübezahl-Alm is well known for its rustic atmosphere and great fun! Not even bad weather can spoil your mood on the Rübe, as you can simply celebrate the bad weather fun in the former cowshed.
