Ranger training in the Wilder Kaiser nature reserve

On the guided family hike on the Wilder Kaiser, we playfully explore the nature reserve and its inhabitants and learn the skills of a Wilder Kaiser ranger. What duties does a ranger have? What is a nature reserve and which animals and plants live there? What do you need to hike safely? Who can answer all the questions correctly in the Wilder Kaiser quiz? Who can find animal tracks and correctly identify a plant? We will answer all these questions together on a short Kaiser hike. On the way back, everyone can make their own nature postcard.

Registration: by 17:00 the day before online or at the Wilder Kaiser Tourist Information
Centre Participants: min. 4 - max. 30 people
Price: € 5 per person, Payment in cash directly at the supplier
You need: good shoes, sun or rain protection, something to drink and a snack
Suitable for: families with children aged 6 and over, or for unaccompanied children aged 6 and over
Circular hike in the nature reserve: approx. 2km & 200 metres, total walking time approx. 1.5 hours
Duration: from 10:50 am to approx. 3:30 pm
Meeting point: Hiking starting point at the WochenbrunnerAlm, Wochenbrunnweg 44, 6352 Ellmau
Arrival: with the free hiking bus to WochenbrunnerAlm or by car via the toll road to WochenbrunnerAlm (€ 5,- per car)

This hike is exclusively for guests of the Wilder Kaiser region with accommodation in the villages of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau or Söll. Only here will you receive the Wilder Kaiser GuestCard free of charge on arrival. The Wilder Kaiser GuestCard must be presented at the meeting point. Participation in the programme is at your own risk. Programme subject to change!
