In the 1st Tyrolean Wood Museum you can follow the history of the country in detail. In a "quaint" authentic wooden house, the birthplace of Hubert Salcher, behind a modest signpost, visitors from all over the world can trace the tradition of the region and the art of woodcarving back to the 17th century. On more than 1000 m2, the carver and sculptor leads his guests along the "wood path" of his ancestors' history to the modern carving art of today.
