A MUSEUM IS ALIVE!
The Bergbauernmuseum z' Bach is an overall experience. The historic rooms dating back to 1795 house a remarkable collection. More than 1,200 exhibits tell the history and stories about the meagre life of the Tyrolean mountain farmers.
A visit to the museum can be ideally combined with a walk along the Franziskusweg. This sculpture trail by Wildschönau artist Hubert Flörl is well worth seeing and connects the villages of Niederau and Oberau and leads directly past the museum.
