Organic cheese  from happy cows

The origin of the Stanglwirt can be found in agriculture and in the 400-year-old traditional inn, where you can purchase and enjoy the specially produced food such as our "Stangl-Kas". The good 15 cows, who find lush mountain meadows full of alpine herbs and flowers around the Stangl-Alm and who spend the summer on the alp from mid-June to September, thank it with the best milk quality. Every year, 140 tons of pure organic raw milk are produced and thus around 3 tons of hearty Stanglwirt organic alpine cheese, which is produced according to the old tradition in a copper kettle over an open fire. The hand-made, gold-ennobled organic mountain cheese contains no flavour enhancers or unnecessary additives and is stored for two months on the Stangl Alm before it - very traditionally - with mules and haflingers in the rock cellar near the organic and wellness resort is brought.

Where can I buy organic alpine cheese?
Either at reception of Bio-Hotel Stanglwirt or in the farm shop in front of the Gasthof Stanglwirt.
