Simply unwind and indulge in delicious wild herb cuisine. Alpine wild herb hike on the Wilder Kaiser in Tyrol with cooking together in a rustic mountain hut. For the first time, you will have the opportunity to visit me for a day on the mountain pasture and immerse yourself in the simple and quiet life on the mountain.

>> Meeting point: Going am Wilden Kaiser. The exact location / car park will be announced when booking. The Alm is located at approx. 1,300 metres below the Wilder Kaiser massif with a unique view of the surrounding mountain ranges from the Kitzbühel Alps to the Großvenediger.
>> Our local superfood: old knowledge - rediscovered! Wild plants in the mountains usually grow unnoticed by the wayside, they go unnoticed on our tours to the summit and are often regarded as "weeds" - yet they harbour many secrets.
In earlier times, nature was both a pharmacy and a supermarket. Wild plants were used in the kitchen as a matter of course and also served as a remedy for illnesses. The wild herbs on the alpine meadows in particular have a long tradition.

>> You can expect: An exciting Alpine wild herb excursion in which you will receive practical tips on identifying, collecting and using healthy and edible wild herbs and wild fruits. We will cook lunch together and enjoy the day with a breathtaking mountain panorama before heading back down into the valley full of knowledge and lots of inspiration.
On this hike, we don't just learn about local medicinal and aromatic herbs. I will tell you about rituals, myths and traditions from ancient times. My personal aim is to familiarise you with the most important wild herbs so that you can identify them safely and collect them independently.
>> Equipment: Sturdy shoes or hiking boots, weather-appropriate clothing, minimised luggage in your rucksack incl. drinks bottle.

- 1 day of pure alpine feeling - Accompaniment from the car park in the valley to the alpine pasture
- Alpine wild herb knowledge and inspiration to copy
- Trained and certified nature coach, resilience trainer, wilderness chef, yoga teacher
- Herbalism (folk medicine, natural cosmetics, organic cuisine & mythology),
- DIY: Delicacies from the alpine meadow for your wild herb kitchen at home
- Small snack of homemade wild herb specialities to welcome you (already prepared)
- Cooking together, full catering (3 course menu: main dish & dessert of wild herbs) incl. water, tea, wild herb lemonade
My connection to nature is also reflected in the choice of ingredients for the catering. That's why I make sure to use unpackaged, regional organic products. We cook vegetarian meals! Allergies or food intolerances can be taken into consideration under certain circumstances. Please contact me about this when you make your booking.
(Not included: Travel costs, parking fee and any costs for a refreshment stop during your stay or on tour as well as alcoholic drinks. On this day we are in the open alpine pasture and meadow area. Dogs are only allowed on a lead).
The offer is for a group of at least 4 and max. 10 people per day.
