Krimml WaterWorlds: Water adventure center at the Krimml Waterfalls

With a total drop height of 385 meters, the Krimml Waterfalls are the highest waterfalls in Austria and also the largest waterfalls in Europe. They are located on the edge of the village of Krimml in Salzburg in the Hohe Tauern National Park. They are formed by the Krimmler Ache river, which plunges down in three stages at the end of the high Krimmler Achental valley.
After the ascent to the upper edge of the falls along the waterfall trail (approx. one hour), there are various options for further hikes along the Krimml Achental valley, and the gates to the bubbling theme park WasserWunderWelt Krimml open right next to the waterfalls.

The new Krimml WaterWorlds, with 25 attractions in the large water park at 6,000 m, will be open from May 20, 2025.
For the 25th anniversary, visitors can expect a new water cinema and a completely redesigned adventure world that focuses on the fascination of water in all its facets.

The Krimml Waterfalls are open daily from the beginning of May to the end of October.
