Winding alleys, imposing, centuries-old town houses and a 700-year-old castle at its heart - the medieval town centre of Hall in Tyrol is architecturally a real gem.
Hall's old town is considered the largest and best preserved in the whole of Tyrol and even outstrips that of Innsbruck, 10 kilometres to the west. Hall has almost 13,600 inhabitants and a long history of economic prosperity, which is reflected in its architecture.
