The Koglhof is set in the romantic Kaiser mountains in Ellmau in Tirol at 850 metres, built in 1615, it has been owned by the Oberhofer family since 1942. Nobody needs to carry their rucksack on the llama hike to the foot of the Wilder Kaiser, the animals carry them for you and everyone gets to lead a llama. The llama trek is a leisurely, unhurried way to experience the mountains and nature on the paths suited to the llamas.
Whether with the whole family or on your own or in a small group, llama trekking can be booked individually and it's on the Wilder Kaiser Weekly event programme every Tuesday in July and August.
