Gipfelrestaurant Hohe Salve
Enjoy an impressive 360° panoramic view of Austria’s highest mountains from the Gipfelrestaurant (summit restaurant) at 1,829m.
The revolving terrace is a real highlight and offers an unique panoramic experience: slowly glide past more than 70 three-thousand-metre high peaks while enjoying the delicacies of Tyrolean cuisine. On the summit you will also find the Salvenkirchlein chapel, whose history dates back to 1589. A visit to the highest pilgrimage church in Austria is wonderful combined with a walk. Enjoy a mountain breakfast from 9.15 am until 10.27 am every day.
Tip: homemade products (spread, farm bread and “Ziachkiachl” - donut speciality), Austria’s first revolving terrace with panoramic views, sun dial path, Salvenriese (Salve giant) play area, panoramic toilets with incredible one-way views.
