Sport climbing in the Kaiser Mountains
#evenbetterinreality
The rugged limestone peaks of the Wilder Kaiser have been known in the climbing scene for a long time. In addition to countless alpine multi-pitch routes and various via ferratas, there are also several climbing parks with a variety of sport climbing routes. Probably the best known of these is the Schleierwasserfall climbing park. With its 60-metre-high rock dome, it is known as a Mecca for extreme climbers. Among other things, it contains some of the hardest routes in Europe. The Achleiten crag also has routes in the medium and upper difficulty levels. The Multerkarwand and Wilderer Kanzel climbing parks offer routes for all levels. For beginners or families and children, the Kaiserklettergarten climbing park near the Gaudeamushütte is ideal to become familiar with the rock as well as climbing and belaying techniques.
